what's new?!

So these past six months have been crazy and busy for our family.  We built a new home, moved across the country, our oldest started kindergarten, and we have battled every single germ on the planet.  I feel like I have been so out of touch with everyone over the past few months.  On top of the kids being non-stop sick, I have been the sickest I have ever been in my entire life.  Part of the sickness has been due to the germs being brought home from school, but the main reason is that I am pregnant with Baby #3.  We are beyond excited!  I am 19 weeks today, so things are moving along.  We met with a fetal maternal specialist today due to my past and current pregnancy issues.  He was amazing.  I have never had such a thorough ultrasound.  He checked every little detail and explained so many things.  I was extremely nervous going into this appointment, as this has been a really, really rough pregnancy.  Leaving the appointment, though, I felt amazing.  Everything looks perfect!  Phew.... what a relief!  My doctors will still be watching a number of things, but I am feeling much more positive right now.  I am hoping to make it until at least 36 weeks.  Here are a few pictures of our little one......
Now Baby wasn't very cooperative throughout the ultrasound, and we didn't get a single good profile or face shot.  Maybe next time.  If you are familiar with ultrasounds, you may notice in the last photo that it is a shot of the little behind and between the legs.  If you look hard, you'll see that something that was present with my other two is noticeably absent here.  I am shocked, but we are indeed having a little girl.  I was certain this baby would be a boy.  We are all very excited to even things out a little in our household.  Before even having kids, my husband and I had talked about how it would be perfect to have two boys and then a girl.  It's crazy that it actually worked out that way.  Now we are just praying for the second half of the pregnancy to go well.  How amazing to have three healthy, beautiful children!  We feel so incredibly blessed!  :-)
