Mother's Day is just around the corner. How many photos do you moms have with your kids? If you are anything like me, it's VERY few. I have a gazillion photos of my kids together, alone and with Daddy, but I rarely think (or want) to hop to the other side of the lens. I realize this even more now that I dug through my archives in search of photos of me with the little ones. I could not find a single image of me and all three together. That's ridiculous. So, here are photos of me with each separately instead.
I am definitely going to make a better effort this year, that's my promise to myself! It doesn't matter if my hair is messy, I haven't showered, I'm in pjs--- whatever my normal excuse is, I am jumping in the photo. The few that I have with my kids I treasure. So, I am going to make it easy on one of you. In honor of Mother's Day, I will be giving away one Mommy & Me Mini Session. And this is how you can enter.....
First--- make sure you are fan of Erika Frances Photography over on Facebook
Second--- to increase your chances, tell your friends and family to "like" Erika Frances Photography too and have them cast a vote for you.
Third--- Come on over here to the blog and leave a comment on this post about anything--- why you want to win, why your sister should win, what you love most about being a mom or just HELLO! ;-) But make sure you type in your name, so I can contact you if you win! Or if you are entering for a friend or family member, enter their name.
A winner will be chosen at random on Sunday, May 5th. Read the details below before you enter...
*** This contest is open to anyone-- new or old clients, but you must be a fan of Erika Frances Photography to win. Each person can receive up to 10 entries from friends or family including your own entry. Your session will last approximately 30 minutes, and 7-10 days after your session, you will receive a disc with 10 images on it ready for you to print. The session can take place just about anywhere in the Cypress area--- your home, a park or your favorite outdoor spot. We will discuss and decide on that together. The session must take place before July 1st, 2013. Unfortunately this session is just for mommy and her children--- sorry Dads! ;-)

When I get random kisses from addy or Olivia gives me sweet smiles I know I am doing a pretty good job being a mom. It's the best job in the world and I love every second of their lives.

I am so blessed to be a mommy to two beautiful little girls! Time goes by so fast, and Erika takes beautiful photos to document it!

Love, love, love the photos you took of Weston and us when he was a newborn, and love to see his yellow chevron picture on your Facebook.

I'm with you Erika, I try to be playful with my camera and capture many pics of my family but I'm never in them. I would love some great pictures of me and them!
Lindsey

Ooh, ooh, pick me!!!!!!!
I would love to win! I am completely guilty of always being the photographer and never the subject. I have barely any pictures of myself with my kids! Your work is beautiful!
Beautiful photography! I take a lot of pictures of my girls, but would love to have some with me in them too. Thanks Erica Miller for sending me over. Natascha
We are definitely overdue for some of your amazing photography! :O)
Sara Parker
The pictures you took for us are by far the BEST pictures I have of my girlies. I would LOVE to have some of me with them. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY:)
I haven't had any photos outside of school pictures that have captured the beauty of my kids!

I dont see my original comment here. Anyway, I love being a mom to Parker Jane. It's the best job in the world.
I would love to vote for my dear friend Monique O'Neill. She (and her husband) are miles away from from their 'hometown' families and friends (up here in Ontario, Canada). She is a remarkable woman, raising three beautiful children. Although the pictures she captures and shares are wonderful, it is not often she has the oppertunity to be in them with her family. Pictures are moments frozen in time and it would be wonderful to provide her with this oppertunity- not to mention, what a wonderful and memorable day it will be for Monique and the kids.
Thank you! Angela Budway
I am with you! I have no pics with the kids! I would love a session focusing on just me and my children. Catherine
I would love to have a mommy and me session with my little one! Your kids sure are growing fast, it has been a while since I have seen them. I am like you and am so good at taking pictures but I am never in them :/ it would be wonderful to have you do a shoot for us to treasure.
Amy Dow

I would love to win this, as I'm having my second little one in less than a week! :)
However, I'd also like to cast a vote for Amy Dow who sent me on over. :) If I can't win, she should! She's had a rough year and finally has her sweet little girl who is finally making things a bit easier on her.
Erika, I would love to win a Mother's Day mini session! You are a beautiful person and an awesome photographer, and we are lucky to have had you photograph our family!
I'd love to win the mini session. My little Charlotte turns 6 months old on Mother's Day and we'd love to document her at this fun little stage in her life :).
Sara Scott
Sara Scott and Charlotte are so beautiful!!!
I want my wife Sara Scott to win!
Mommy Sara Scott and Baby Charlotte Scott!
I heard a rumor that if Charlotte wins, there is a strong chance she may begin crawling during the photo shoot!
Please choose Sara Scott and Charlotte. They moved away and I really need to see more pictures of them.
Happy Mothers Day to you, Erika! Beautiful pictures with your kids. (P.S. this is Ashley Lokkesmoe. :)
Sara Scott is a beautiful Mommy inside and out to her adorable daughter Charlotte. Sure hope they win.
I love seeing pictures of Sara Scott and baby Charlotte. Since they live away, I am able to watch Charlotte grow through pictures. They are both beautiful and I hope they win.
Sara Scott is not only an incredible mother but an amazing person overall and the best friend anyone could be blessed enough to have!!! Sara deserves so much to have a special moment with her and Charlotte with this photo shoot and I think you should pick her!!!
Pick Sara Scott!!! :-)
I'd love to see Sara Scott and baby Charlotte in a magazine. They'd make such a wonderful cover. They both have such beautiful eyes and gorgeous smiles that will light up the room.
My vote is for Sara Scott, she is an amazing mom to sweet Charlotte!
I'm casting a vote for Sara Scott. Hoping to see that she and that lovely baby girl are the winners!
Casting a vote for Monique O'Neill.
